I don't see many of them being particularly useful, especially as a frost transcendent icon torchlight 2 robots, especially considering I use a wand and shield. Mana stolen on hit? I'm almost always fully charged. Same deal, don't really have mana issues. Armor is just a flat reduction of damage and gets less useful at high levels.
Maybe slightly useful for bosses, but normal mobs will die before the full duration of anything expires. And back to the set bonuses. However, they take transcendent icon torchlight 2 robots and 10 pieces respectively to obtain. The other set bonuses I can live without or could easily get just from the base stats of many different items. The cast speed bonus isn't even that great for 6 pieces. As a frostmage, we already freeze enough consistently as it is so the extra freeze isn't needed, shock is horrible, and burn sounds maybe a little useful I haven't tested it, does it's dot transcendent icon torchlight 2 robots with focus?
About the only piece of Transcendence which I own so far that I would questionably use, just for its base stats, are the shoulders, which are amazing. Am I completely missing the appeal of the set, and just not understanding its potential, or do people actually agree with me? Active trader and merchant in the TL2 community. Currently looking for Riechliu, Vellinque, and Vastok skulls. Please PM me if interested. People like it because it's the lvl Embermage specific set.
I agree however the stats are terrible on most pieces and it's not really worth using unless you go for the look. The shoulders are good though.
Some parts are good, but some parts are just so bad that it's not worth using the full set. Glaives are perfectly balanced, its Xy that needs a nerf. Well because its The set, i use it for the looks and the transcendent icon torchlight 2 robots bonus, there might be better pieces which look the same but i just enjoy wearing one brand of clothes. Making consoled items as good as legit.
