The Staff Accountant will work under the direction of the Controller and be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports. Primary duties include financial reporting; assisting with financial close; account reconciliations; preparation and posting of journal entries; monitoring and reporting of daily cash flow; and other duties deemed necessary to support the accounting function. The Service Assistant will be responsible for working closely with Product Support Manager and Shop Foreman to motivate, develop and assist our service technicians as well as provide outstanding service to our customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: Successful candidate will have similar experience and be a team player. Proficient in Microsoft office, typing skills and able to perform various clerical duties. Prior Customer Service experience necessary. Prior experience in the heavy equipment repair field preferred.
Mechanical knowledge, skills and abilities to assist on the shop floor is also preferred. Provide customer, factory and vendor support. Process parts order for phone, counter and service sales Service customers by identifying needed parts, using parts catalogs, computer system. Perform all other duties as assigned by Parts Manager Participate in specialized training classes Complete all required paperwork Work safely and use safe techniques Utilize computer system to perform data entry and placement of orders Keep counters and parts room neat and clean Job Requirements: Experience in heavy equipment is preferred.
Good communication skills to interact with employees and customers. Knowledge of techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy weights. Ability to operate basic office equipment such as phone system, computer, fax, and calculator.
