Hitbtc withdrawal from zoloft
For Cymbalta at least I've found a lot of forum posts offering assistance for tapering. Eg "bead counting" to gradually decrease dose it comes in capsule form. I am having success with nortriptyline.
I started a month ago but the success has been excellent so I'll be upping my dose soon. It also controls my headaches, does not make me feel odd, and helps me sleep but doesn't make me drowsy.
My anxiety is mostly under control as well I'm having issues with it so I know I need a dosage increase. This is the first medication I've ever been on that actually controlled my mood and anxiety without making everything worse. It also seems pretty gentle, as in if I miss a day accidentally it doesn't throw me for a loop.
If anxiety is a problem, look into clonazepam and take a low dose. It's helped me do a lot of basic functions, though you may be lethargic at times. I can manage to skip a day without too much issue. But after that I start feeling weird, dizzy and get a brain fog until I redose. But it was pretty easy to taper though since I'm now only taking 5mg. But even at 5mg, I still can't completely get off of it easily. And it doesn't come in lower amounts and I can't cut the pills evenly because it's egg shaped.
Thanks for the heads up, will know to expect this if I'm unlucky! Be sure to tell your doctor too, because it's a new drug, and not all side effects are fully known yet. Prozac has the longest half-life so in theory it would be the easiest to taper off of. Prozac has a long half life and I hear it's withdrawals are mild. You can also consider taking Perika brand St John's Wort. It works for me. It's equally effective as any medication for mild to moderate depression examine. Best first antidepressant to try that won't likely increase anxiety not Wellbutrin?
