What card are you using? Yes, i have the Gigabyte too. I have undervolted it to 1. Im using bamt 1. Remember to update your drivers as well. I have done it changing the config of the slow gpu. When i come home i will try to update the driver to check stability.

Make sure you're using the same card before flashing! Both my core and VRM temperatures are steady 80C using this method. The instructions seems pretty straight foward, and if flashing my BIOS means reduced temps then I'm for sure gonna go for it.
Is there any risk to brick the card? The only change from that screenshot is you have to set the drop down from user mode to kernel mode. After that, you will be able to drop the voltage.
I set mine to and get at about 65C. I've got 4 black double D's with a desk fan pulling about watts. To get UV to work, I kept the setting on user mode, but I also had to check the box "force constant voltage".
