So many people think the market cap on Coinmarketcap is the value of that cryptocurrency when in fact it is just the total amount of money invested in that coin by token-holders.
From what I understand from the white paper, the current value of being a BRD token holder are simply perks, discounts and customer service benefits. Imagine what the market cap of Bank of America stock would be if investors got discounts on their bank services and perks like "Skip the line". The fact that so many people are putting so much money in coins with little use cases or no token payouts is going to hurt the crypto market in the long run.
There are many projects out there that have much better return on investment and token economics may not matter in the short term hype matters but in the long run token economics are everything.
