Liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump
Here is my first water cooled build! Ok so I would like to thank all of the people who have commented on my build thus far! You guys are awesome! Ok so, since this was going to be my first attempt at a custom water cooling loop I wanted to go all out and make it challenging for my self. First thoughts were on rubber tubing but once I looked at some of the systems that were out there I was pretty unimpressed. Not due to the lack of skill of the actual builder, but due to the general presentation it offered when compleated.
I was looking on youtube and came across a channel called Singularity Computers and that is when I was compleately sold on hardline tubing! So right away I started dreaming up what my computer was going to look like. I knew that if I was going to go all out and make something worth seeing every time I was going to game I had to pick the right case. In my search I came across the Corsair T full tower with the beautiful wide open unobstructed view of its interior through its left side acrylic pannel.
Right away I knew this was the one! I had already invisioned making a mean looking red and black build, and lets face it nothing says black and red build like Asus and their ROG line of products. So now that I was sold on a case I was off to Micro Center to look for some other parts that I would need.
Now these items more or less called out to me in the store as If they needed me to purchase them lol. I could not tell you how happy I was to find that these items were right in line with what I was looking for! Not only did they fit the red and black color scheme requirement but they both upped the awesomeness factor by having their own onboard red LED lighting.
Next it was processor time. Now I was always interested liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump the devils canyon I7 K and as luck would have it Micro Center was running a sale on that processor so I grabbed it. Plus I thought that 4. My next thoughts were on the storage and the operating system. I was amazed and in love with the idea that I could have a hard drive affixed to the motherboard and not taking up valuable real estate in my case.
So now that I had the main components for my build I assembled everything, loaded my software and began to run benchmarks. I did this just to see what I could squeez out of this system while it was on air. My next mission was the water cooling loop. Now for this I did a huge amount of research on youtube, and spent hours uppon hours watching video on how to bend acrylic tubing, and boy am I glad I did. I beleive it made things so much easier than if I would have went into it blind.
I loved the fact that it had the red acrylic double helix inside! It reminded me of the vials in the Resident Evil movied that contained the T virus: I had 4 in totalI had two 'sliquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pumpand one series radiators. I am using 7 Corsair AF fans with red trim ; for air flow. Lastly for my fittings I used the Monsoon Hardline economy compression fittings, in red of corse. Next I will be giving you my thoughts about working with hardline tubing.
Ok so one of the main questions I always get is " How was it working with the hardline tubing?? With that being said, take your time measure nine times bend and cut once: I can not tell you how awesome it feels to bend a tube and have it fit right in without having to tweek it. Now I did not have instant success with this due to the fact that heating the tube itself is almost an art.
If it is too close to the heat source the tube bubbles and looks like crap and if it is too far away it takes forever to heat to the point where you can work with it. During the next step you will want to make sure that everything is dissconnected and you want to use a jumper wire to power the pump. I filled the res to the top, and powered the pump, making sure the res did not liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump out.
I repeated this process and continued to do so untill the loop was compleatly filled. Well I hope this liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump some insight into what my experience was with this build. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!!! Dude liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump have like 2 intake fan and 5 exhaust fans??
LOL I will get on the fan issue! Never get red liquid. It's so hard to clean. P Should probably upgrade to a bit system to. I heard about that but I could not help myself with the coolant!
It is 64 bit I picked the wrong os in part picker by accident. Better description would've been feautured. Very nice build work on description, could easily be featured. When I posted this it was at the end of the shift and I was in a rush. However I may adjust the post to include more information! Glad you like the build! Great looking build, and Awesome hard tubed loop especially since its your first water cooled build!!
I had to try my hand at custom hard liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump bending! I just could not bring myself to use rubber hose. LOL I did not at first either: You know I thought about that but I was not sure how the red tubing would work since it was not UV reactive.
I liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump not want the inside of the case to look too dark. I thought about that but I did not know how the red tubing would look with a black light since it was not UV reactive I thought it might make the tubing look a little too dark and muddy. I would agree but I don't think it would go with the red tubing. My next build will utilize uv reactive stuff. I cant tell from the picture very well, but are you having issues with the GPU sagging?
It looks like it is sagging quite a bit, again I cant tell if it is. I know it does look like it is sagging. Once i took off the actual cooler and prepared the card for the water block I was faced with the fact that I could not use the support bracket. So I actuall had to make my water cooling loop support the card just a little to stop the sag: I felt the same way and I thought the idea app of a red and black accent build. Glad you like it. I Accidentally picked the wrong operating system in the parts menu.
This is actually running bit. Well if you have any questions please feel free to ask! And if you are local to Somerville Massachusetts and need some help possibly I can assist with that as well especially with the hardline tube bending. I mean like I am surprised that he didn't get one with his build.
I agree the Strix model would look great but I was unaware of the strix models when I purchased this card. Eventually I will upgrade. I mean this card is such a beast I am pretty much on par with a single Any specific reason to go with the ti? Liquid fusion tvirus water cooling reservoir and pump could've bought a for so much cheaper.
Also that ROG edition is super expensive lol. I was aware that the Rog versions are uber exspensive. P purchased my items before the new cards came out. Other than that I am thrilled with this build and the card Overclocks like a beast! I will be more than happy to post about my experience with this build as soon as I get a moment I will!
I can tell you it was a hell of a journey! Description Here is my first water cooled build! TheMultiRugga 2 points 35 months ago. How much did the watercooling cost? Poli 2 points 35 months ago.
