Ethereum prison key wowhead
Comentado ethereum shandurai drop rate is not low like it used to. The hostile mobs are all level 71, and has a chance to drop a random green or blue prison and the Ethereum Prisoner ID Tag needed for a quest. Nether-Stalker Mah'duun gives key the ones that are the non-heroics. Wowhead favore, abilitare JavaScript nel tuo browser.

I am looking to buy Ethereum Prison Key's obtained in mana tombs heroic each run need about keys feel free to cod me 60g each key If you are not able to pick up keys you need to do a small prequest in netherstorm: I may actually have one of these laying around [if I have not vendored it, sadly], but if so it is on one of my Horde characters, not one of my Alliance characters.
I'll check, in case I can help. Out of curiosity, why might you be needing so many? I used a lot to get a rare transmog item - dropping from the chambers in Blades Edge - so that could be another usage.
I'm afraid - due to the above reason, I don't have any for the time being, but I will poke this post if I go grinding manatombs in the near future. I'm such a newb in so many ways. What's odd is that no matter whom you get, from your perspective they all have this NPC ID number, so the Drops and Abilities tabs above are amalgamations.
There are plenty of cases in the game where an NPC can have multiple possible appearances, but these guys all have different names, abilities, and drops, so behind the scenes they are most likely different NPCs: Commento di galkaia For those looking to obtain one of the items for a transmog set, treat this as a reputation grind!
The quest and other information mentioned below are all accurate, but there is a detail omitted: In order to do the repeatable quest, you must do prerequisite quests that are only available at Revered with the Consortium.
And it drop Etherum prison key for me. So I might be wrong. Comment by MulletBoy You dont get I. Tags every time, sometimes when you unlock the prison you get a consortium dealer or similar friendly npc, they wont give you their dog tags but they will give you rep for rescuing them, it is possible to get rep for consortium, lower city, and other shattrath factions i think also you dont have to farm just the guys at the staging grounds, any ethereum guys like the ones at manaforge ultris drop them too.
I'm the only one can loot. I think other group member reputation not enough or haven't done pre quest. Also I can confirm those Zaxxis at south of area 52 drop prison key as well. Drop 2 for me while farming rep there. Drop rate similar to Etherum mob. Comment by jmdmorg I've used the key to open up Ethereum Prison four times now. The first three yielded a mob to fight.
The fourth yielded a friendly "Rescued Sha'tar Vindicator". She said, "Blessed Light! Free of my confines at last A'dal will be told of your heroics. I started this on my mage gotten the salvaged key , then decided to use my shaman to collect the keys As my shaman has an epic flyer , however when I fought I Jailor I did not get one. After quickly doing the salvaged key quest, however, I started getting these keys on my shaman.
Comment by Alik Bash'ir Arcanist just dropped one. Comment by Grandomega Drop rates that I've found. The prisons contain a number of things. Often its an aggresive mob that you can kill for a prison ID, but they can contain friendly npcs that give you rep with one of a few different factions. I have find my first of an Ethereum Avanger. Enchant Weapon - Major Spellpower-.
Comment by Timmytron These keys are for a chain quest line After u complete that, u must now get 5 more keys to summon a 5 man boss that has a chance to drop a mark that u need to complete the quest. Will post more as i get there. Comment by lexlooter I killed about Zaxxis ethereals south of Area 52 and ended up with 18 keys. That's a droprate of 2. Comment by Wrexsoul The droprate seems to have been increased somewhat in the latest maintenance patch - I have heard several people comment on it, and I myself found six keys in the time it took to grind 42 Insignias down at The Heap.
It might just be coincidental, or it might just be in that particular area, but I thought it worth mentioning. Big time whammy for me. On the up side I did rescue someone from the Cenarion Expedition which was great: Comment by TegoZanduba These give great loot. Here's hoping this loot continues. Comment by sheepe It might be obvious from looking at the drop rates but don't waste your time farming for keys in the main etherium base, they have a horrific 0. Comment by shandurai drop rate is not low like it used to..
Comment by xaktsaroth Those are not having good drop rate on my server at least. Comment by Magaso Can they drop in Non-heroic Mana tombs? Comment by Larrsis So far I've had very good luck in Bash'irs landing, gotten at least 8 keys there in a very short time period for getting these keys at least. In heroic Mana-Tombs I got 3 keys, and I had gotten these only up to the second boss, drop rates seems good in heroic Mana tombs. Comment by riaa So just went up to the prisons with 12 keys on me. I tried them all and got on from cenerarion expedition to and one more from lower city.
I dont know if this is something that only will come when ur revered with consortium. But never gotten them when i was just honored with them and opened the prisons. When a rescued custodian spawn u will not get an id tag! But rep with some faction in stead. While I had Ethereum Prisoner I.
Now I wish I hadn't completed the I. Can someone else check this out? The Key drop rate seems to be high when you have the I.
Catalogue quest in your log. Comment by rythious Talked to guy trying to sell these for g each. Comment by Mordiceius Warden Icoshock actually has a pretty decent drop rate of keys. Dropped about 5 keys out of the 10 times I've killed him in passing. Maybe I'm just lucky. Comment by Lallipalli Oh.. I was on the quest A Thousand Worlds at the time, and no one else in the party was on either of the quests involving the keys, so they didn't get to roll.
Not sure if they drop in non-heroic. Comment by Sabbae The best ways to get these is from the daily non heroic quests where you will get 1, and you can do heroic Mana Tombs. In heroic MT there will in most runs drop between witch means you have a great chance of getting atleast 1. When you are so lucky to get em you can use em for the quest where you deliver 5 and then get another quest.
If you do the whole chain you will end up with a permanent Yor a "bonus" boss in heroic MT, who drops some nice rings key. You can also use em at the prisons in Netherstorm. They are just west of Manaforge Ultris. You can see the camp on the map mushroom looking things. There are prisons and you just step up to them and use you key.
Now either it will spawn a mob who can drop some pretty desent things blue rings and good greens or a faction guy will spawn and give you rep with his faction. There are the following factions: Tag witch you can deliver at the camp north of where you are and get Consortium rep. Comment by clavarnway Does anybody know if you are already exalted with a faction if that faction's prisoner can still spawn on you inside a prison, thus wasting the key completely since you are already exalted?
Comment by galaxygoddess Can you still open prisons if you're exalted with consortium? Comment by Irulan These are BoP so send them to an alt that needs rep with consortium. I send them to my priest healer where I can't grind with and is also a disser, and the dropchance of blue items is pretty high, I had about 6 blue drops from 25 keys. Comment by SignupSucks I'm trying to decide what the best use of these keys are for the final jump to exalted Consortium.
I think I've only seen one Sha'tar Vindicator in the dozens of keys I've used, and none of the others. My issue is that you need 5 of these keys to get an Ethereum Stasis Chamber Key http: The turn in to get the chamber key rewards you rep, but I'm not certain that mobs you kill from the stasis chambers give any consortium rep.
Can anyone confirm whether they do or not? Additionally, if you do get a Mark of the Nexus king from the Stasis Chamber mob, does summoning and killing Yor provide any reputation to Consortium? Comment by elegor It would appear that doing that quest and being Honored with Consortium is not just a pre-req for getting the drop, but holding the items at all.
Comment by Lyaidan I spent two hours on two seperate occasions trying to get this key to drop with my husband. On the second day after two hours he finally got one but I continued to get nada.
On each occasion we looked and looked for the jailer I'm a hunter so it should have been easy to spot but never found one. So on someones suggestion we moved to The Heap near area 52 approximate coords are 30,75 and tried killing the Zaxxis instead. It dropped after about ten kills and I also got several insignia which can be turned in for rep in the process.
Save yourself a headache and farm the key at the heap. Comment by Mrpeanut I'm fairly convinced there is no such thing as an Ethereum jailor. Either that, or this must be the rarest spawns in the game.
Will someone tell them if they do in fact exist that I'm trying to find and kill them? First - as already mentioned - the drop rate for the keys is really low. Second, it took me FIVE keys to even get a hostile thing out of the prison. I rescued half of the Cenarion Expedition before a fiend decided to come out and end my agony. Avoid this quest if you would be doing it for the exp. Took me about ten seconds to find a jailor.
Comment by chochopk The fastest way to farm the Ethereum Prisoner I. With tablet alpha, you can open unlimited number of Ethereum prisons.
That's rep per kill. Comment by Thora Got a key from an Etherium Nullifier at Comment by the1comes lvl 85 hunter just got 4 keys from mana tombs heroic. Comment by Brightfern Guys, i read all previous comments and tried a few of them, no good: As for the Jailor, i figured that was the best bet, so i made a macro. Comment by lamwai I found Ethereum Jailor at location Both drop Prison Key.
Comment by naddieb Found a jailor using this macro at Voidwind Plateau, east of where you're most likely to be farming the keys. Comment by yourautomaticeye I found that the surrounding cliff areas Voidwind Plateau included have a much better drop rate than the middle area of the staging grounds.
Comment by dakota3 To help clear up some of the apparent confusion on how to get these keys and what to do with them once you have them assuming you're farming Consortium rep. There are a couple of ways to get Ethereum Prison Key. Camp out in the prescribed area in the quest and kill mobs until it drops. This option is a grind. Either way it's painful unless you get lucky. One run should give you approximately 4 to 6 Ethereum Prison Key.
Since you will be getting rep anyway, killing mobs in the instance - this seems a preferable option if you're farming rep with the Consortium.
Next, fly to the quest area and find the Ethereum Staging Grounds. Use the key s to open one of the pink bubble Ethereum prisons. The mob that comes out of the prison will drop a Ethereum Prisoner I. Once you hand in the quest it will turn into a repeatable quest Ethereum Prisoner I. Catalogue , which will give you approx rep per turn in and also unlock the quest A Thousand Worlds. Comment by dayoodin For the life of me, I had no idea what I was supposed to be opening once I got the key, which dropped for me after the second mob I killed I just picked mobs at random and looked for no one special.
So, let me help anyone else who is confused since most of what is here is about how to get the key rather than telling you what to unlock: Once you get the key, head to the "jails," which are the pink, glowing floaty ball things corralled in a fenced-off area near the edge of one of the cliffs. Comment by misselizabeth I actually stayed around the Ethereum Prison and got two Prison keys right there.
Comment by janan2 This quest was one of the worst I have ever done. I spent at least 2 hrs killing everything in sight at the Ethereum Staging Grounds along with others while I flew around trying to find the Ethereum Jailor. Never found the jailor and then I finally got 2 keys back at the grounds. Use them and the first one was a monster and the 2nd was a girl. Neither dropped the id tag. Sigh, back again killings tons more mobs for a key.
Finally got one but tried to find another just in case. Gave up, used my one key, got a monster, but thank god I finally got the id tag. The least Blizzard could do is give a good reward. Comment by edgeblade What a stupid quest. I found a jailor at Why are these mobs not with the other Ethereum mobs? Makes no sense to me. Comment by Boomerasp If you love waisting your time on a dull quest with little reward, you'll love this one. My advice -- forget it! I came here looking for answers and although it prob would be a good idea to kill a bunch of Ethereum and wait for the jailer to spawn, you don't know how long you will have to wait.
After trying this out for about 30 mins, I decided to try the other option of killing Zaxxis. I went through a whole section real quick then went afk for 5 mins came back they all were spawned again. I killed about more and I got the KEY!
Prob about 20 mins total being a Thanks everyone for all the good ideas, but this one worked best for me! Comment by BlazePhyre I don't know what these guys are talking about. I killed like 4 people in the blue questing area and got the key. Comment by kailu Tried to get the key in the first area where it shows that it is available to drop. I found him at 66,49 on the voidwind plateau. Thank god the first prison i opened was Armbreaker huffaz that dropped the ID card.
If you end up unlucky in the first attempts with all the archons, avengers and assassins, I recommend you fly past the first area, and use a macro to find the jailor. Comment by Bogdanov89 Took me about 25 minutes of farming ethereals to get the first key, i never could find the warden for the guaranteed key drop.
If you are just leveling, i don't think this quest is worth the time you need to farm the ethereals for a key drop. Comment by whecks The prisoners and ID tags are in the pink spheres.
Comment by Vlad Here is my experience summarized on how to get this item. I just did it on one of my characters to prepare for Timewalking in patch 6. Before you start you might consider purchasing the required materials that will be required further into the quests.
It can help reduce farm and speed up completion. At some point you'd need to turn in 10x Ethereum Prison Key , but in addition you'd need one extra to continue the quest chain. So if I were you, buy at least 10 of these from the Auction House.
