Hard Wallets are the best way to secure your crypto; I recommend Ledger, Trezor, and KeepKey as those companies are the best at making this stuff.
If you don't have the to spend I recommend a paper wallet. Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post. If someone loses their Trezor password, let them know I know of a way to recover it.
